I just started my first batch of blackberry mead at Thanksgiving and should have it bottled by the end of January. You can find lots of recipes for all kinds of meads. I would reccomend starting with the recipes on the National Honey Board's website and then go from there. I see that you are from Charlotte. I hear that there is a great hobby brewing store up that way. I'll ask the brewers that I know up there the name and get back to you with it. They would be a great resource if you were thinking about brewing some yourself.
